9일간 온고을을 설레게 한 전주국제영화제가 5일 막을 내린다. 폐막식은 오후 7시 한국소리문화의 전당에서 정찬, 김지우의 사회로 진행된다. 관객투표와 예매율을 기준으로 정해지는 JIFF 최고 인기상 시상을 시작으로 관객 평론가상, 우석상, JJ-Star상, CGV 한국장편영화 개봉 지원상이 차례로 시상된다. 시상이 끝나고 이경옥 조직위원장의 폐막 선언이 있은 뒤 폐막작 <내 청춘에게 고함>이 상영되면 영화제 공식 일정이 모두 끝난다. 폐막작 상영에 앞서 김영남 감독과 세 주연 배우 김혜나, 이상우, 김태우가 무대인사 시간을 갖는다.
The 9 days journey of JIFF finally came to its end. The closing ceremony will be at 7 p.m. on the 5th at Sori Arts Center of Jeonlabuk-do with two emcees, Jung Chan and Kim Ji-woo. Starting with the JIFF Favorites Award, which is selected by audiences and ticketing rate, Audience Critics, Woosuk Award, JJ-Star Award, and CGV Korean Independent Feature Film Distribution Support Award will follow in order. The festival will end with the closing film <Don't Look Back>, followed by the festival chairman(Lee Kyung-ok)'s closing declaration. Right before the screening, the three main actors of the closing film, Kim Hye-na, Lee Sang-woo and Kim Tae-woo, will be introduced.
