영화제 개막식이 작년에 이어 올해도 소리문화의 전당에서 열린다. 국내 여성 그룹 빅 마마의 개막 축하 공연을 시작으로 송하진 조직위원장의 개막 선언, 민병록 집행위원장의 개막 인사 등이 이어진다. 그 밖에도 유명 비보이 그룹 비보이 코리아의 축하 공연 및 심사위원 소개등도 있을 예정이다. 김명민, 박솔미의 사회로 진행될 행사는 7시에 시작하여 8시까지 약 1시간 정도 진행된다. 곧이어 올해 개막작인 한승룡 감독의 <오프로드>가 상영된다.
9 Days Festival Journey Commence
Following last year's step, this year the opening ceremony will be held at the Sori Arts Center. The female vocal group Big Mama's performance will embark upon the festival, followed by the Chairman Song Ha Jin's opening declaration, and the Festival Director Min Byung Rok's opening compliments. B-boy Korea, a famous b-boy group's performance and the judges' introductions will also be arranged. The event, proceeded by Kim Myung Min and Park Sol Mi, will begin at 7 and finish at 8 lasting for about an hour. This year's opening film, Director Han Seung Ryong's <Offroad> will be screened right after.
