인더스트리 스크리닝의 결과물들이 나오고 있다. ‘인더스트리 스크리닝’이란 해외영화의 원활한 국내 배급을 돕고자 영화제 쪽이 행사 기간 내 각종 수입사 및 방송사, 각종 영화 관련 콘텐츠 구매자들을 위해 별도의 상영관을 제공하는 프로그램의 일환. 올해는 14편의 해외영화가 인더스트리 스크리닝의 기회를 가졌다. 현재까지 가장 주목 받고 있는 작품으로는 미카엘 쇼르의 <슈뢰더의 멋진 세계>, 더글라스 고든과 필립 파레노의 <지단: 21세기의 초상>, 오시이 마모루의 <다치구이시 열전>, 하기우다 코지의 <신동>등이다. <신동>의 경우는 이미 국내 한 수입사가 구매하여 개봉을 준비 중이다. 영화제측은 “작년보다 인더스트리 관계자들의 참석 희망이 더 늘었다. 더 적극적인 프로그램 운용을 위해 내년에는 주말 스크리닝을 늘릴 계획도 있다”고 밝혔다.
Favorable Response to Industry Screening
The Industry Screening is receiving a positive response from foreign and native film personnel. The Industry Screening is a part of the program which provides a separate screening theatre for all sorts of import companies, the media, and film related contents buyers, to help circulate domestic distribution of foreign films. This year 14 foreign films had the opportunity of Industry Screening. So far films such as <Schroeder’s Wonderful World><Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait> <Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters> <Genius> are drawing the attention. In case of <Genius> a domestic import company has purchased it, and is in the middle of preparing for the release. The festival’s personnel commented that “the exact number was not yet computed but the number of wishful attendance of industry personnel has increased compared to last year. Next year, we are planning to increase the weekend screening for a more positive program operation.”
